TOURNAMENT FORMAT
When possible players are placed into four class brackets as shown below:

1. NAPA Class GM/M
2. NAPA Class A
3. NAPA Class B
4. NAPA Class C/D/E

However, in some circumstances, splitting players into exact NAPA classes is not possible. These circumstances are generally caused by two factors:

1. Too many players in one bracket and too few players in another bracket, creating lopsided and uneven brackets, which is unfair.
2. Less than 16 entries, overall.

Therefore, NAPA HQ, at its discretion, when necessary, will split players into groups shown below:

1. Group 1
2. Group 2
3. Group 3
4. Group 4

In such an event, all players will be split evenly into these four groups based on CueSpeed Rating from highest to lowest starting with Group 1, so that there will be a well-balanced field.

In the event there are less than 16 players then only one bracket will be used.

FINAL-4
Winners of each bracket meet in the final-four.

In the event NAPA classes are used the pairings will be as follows:
Winner of GM/M vs. Winner of A
Winner of B vs. Winner of C/D/E

In the event groupings are used the pairings will be as follows:
Winner of Group 1 vs. Winner of Group 2
Winner of Group 3 vs. Winner of Group 4

The winner of the above two matches move on to the finals. The losers of the above two matches move on to the bronze match for 3rd/4th places.
